For Speech Therapy: 

You do not need a referral to seek speech therapy services in the state of Massachusetts. If your speech therapist determines you could benefit from services, we will reach out to your primary care provider (PCP) with a treatment plan. You may request a referral through your PCP, or simply schedule a consultation and we can contact your PCP directly. 

For Wellness or Coaching: 

Insurance does not typically cover coaching services, so referrals are not required. 

Yes! Some insurers offer coverage for out-of-network providers. We provide an itemized "superbill" for out-of-pocket services. We also provide elective wellness and coaching services for private pay. 

Treatment plans vary based on each individual's needs. We typically see people 1-2 times per week, but we can also provide monthly consultations, or up to 5 days per week of services depending on what kinds of treatments are needed. Speech therapy can happen over the course of a couple months, or even years for clients dealing with chronic conditions.
